Apply for Funding
Professional Learning Funding – Bluewater Elementary Occasional Teachers members can apply for up to $200 in reimbursement for professional learning events, including self-funded AQ/ABQ courses, ETFO Summer Academy, workshops, or webinars, etc., completed between June 1, 2026, and May 31, 2027. Submissions must include one completed form, all applicable receipts, and proof of completion. Please note: Funding is for professional learning events; resources are no longer accepted.
Dependent Care Funding – The Local offers up to $50 per day to help members cover care costs for children (14 and under) or adult dependents while attending any event hosted by the Local, including General Meetings and Professional Learning Opportunities. To qualify, please submit your claim form and receipt within 30 days of the event.
Lianne Wyatt Member Benevolent Fund – This fund provides emergency assistance to active members in good standing facing significant financial hardship. Administered by a confidential committee, the fund offers a lifetime maximum grant of $5,000. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis according to fund guidelines.
